Volunteer Opportunities | Edgewater United Methodist Church

There are many opportunities to volunteer at Edgewater.  Some examples may be our Children’s Ministry, Youth, Choir, or hospitality, just to mention a few choices.  Please feel free to email Kaylea Neil, our Volunteer Coordinator, at kaylea@edgewaterchurch.com.

SPROUTS Adult Volunteers

Help lead our new children’s outreach on Wednesday nights.

Children’s Church Team

Help provide a fun, meaningful time of learning for children ages three through fourth grade during the 6:00 PM Saturday night worship service & the second half of the 11:00 AM Contemporary Worship Service.

If you like to sing, you are invited to join our choir.  We sing at the 8:00 AM Traditional Sunday Worship Service the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month.  Stop by the church on Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM for Choir Practice & share your voice with God.  We are also in the process of preparing for our Christmas Cantata which will be held on December 11.  Please stop by on October 4, and we will be practicing the Cantata from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.

Show God’s love in a practical way by providing a warm, loving environment for our youngest children (during worship services and/or special events).

A complete listing of our many volunteer opportunities can be found in the lobby.  Look for the Get Connected booklet. In it you will find brief information on each ministry area need.

Serving is the heart of following Jesus!

You are a gifted person!  God has given you at least one spiritual gift.  You have been entrusted with this gift in order to strengthen the church and help people meet, know and serve Jesus Christ.

A wide variety of ministry opportunities await you at Edgewater Church.  From music to missions, from sewing to serving the homeless, from hospitality to hospital visitation, from youth to young-at-heart, from children to counseling, from prayer to picking people up for worship, from baking to bicycles – there is a place for you at Edgewater!

Your service will make a difference in the lives of people in our community, strengthen the church and allow you to become the person God created you to be.  Serving is the heart of following Jesus!

God bless you as you serve!
