Join us on the Young Adults study of “Practicing The Way of Jesus”; currently teaching us,disciples, the depth and meaning of Prayer

Session 2: talking with God
* Prayer is as simple as just telling God what is on your mind, because He cares for you. It’s abt being WITH Him.
* Growth comes from reflection>experience
* Praying on His promises > our problems
* Intimacy > performance; our Heavenly Father only wants ur heart, NOT perfection
* Prayer is a lifestyle, not a check mark on a to-do list
* Be honest and vulnerable so that He may heal you from what ur bringing to Him. He is always missing you and has a love for you no one can reach or comprehend. Praise the Lord!

Join us this upcoming Sunday for our Worship Night to praise God for all that He’s done! Dinner will be provided. Grace and Peace!

Foundational practice as a follower of Jesus

Sabbath
-one of the 10 commandments
-not just are our bodies tired but our souls as well
-it’s difficult to love God when we’re tired
-irritable , impatient, selfish all when lacking rest
-Rest in Him , changes your way of life
-rest enough not just to keep going but to see the fruits of the spirit
Ex. love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
-God Sabbath , no matter the circumstances of your life He has called you to take a time of rest , honoring Him in that .
-resting in Him reminds you that we are who we are loved by

…some practices as being a follower of Jesus will be easier than others , but for those that come not as easy , He provides of way . So step into the light of His guidance , and allow Him to show you the way of life in abundance !
